PET resin drying is the first step to have good quality bottles. Moisture must be taken out before injection. We always recommend to use dehumidifier which recycles heat to use energy wisely and to get PET dew point to -50°C or blow so that PET exhibits its optimum nature.
Most people choose one of the two options as shown below.

Note: The PET drying capacity on the table above is for reference only. The humidity of the certain area, the nature of specific PET resin, the working temperature and bottle application shall be considered to determine the actual capacity of each model.
Following layouts are for different applications:

Layout A is for small capacity that the hopper dryer can be put on the injection machine. Layout B is for considerably big hopper dryer which is too heavy to be installed on the injection machine. Layout C is a central dryer system for large capacity production with multi-injection machines.

PET resin demands a steady low dew point dry air with constant drying temperature to achieve its residual moisture content to 0.02% or lower to exhibit its optimum physical performance and surface finish.

Note: Optional parts such as preheating timer, filters at the entry and/or air discharge, magnetic grill, floor stand and suction box can be selected upon request at extra charge.
Several types of autoloader, split or one-piece set, carbon brush or induction, 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 autoloader can be selected according to specific project. In some cases, both split and one-piece autoloaders will be required. For example, the Layout B, the first one-piece autoloader is for bringing material to the hopper dryer and the second split autoloader is for delivering dried material to the injection molding machine. The table below shows some models to selection.
